Built by people who've sat on both sides of the table

Upward started with a frustration. After years in tech recruiting, our founder kept seeing the same thing: brilliant candidates passed over not because they lacked ability, but because their resume buried it, their search had no plan, or they froze in interviews they were more than qualified for.

The hiring process rewards people who know how to navigate it. That felt unfair — so we set out to even the odds. We brought together coaches, former hiring managers, and editors who could teach the craft of the search itself.

Today we work with professionals around the world, and our aim is always the same: leave you genuinely more capable, with sharper materials, a clearer plan, and the confidence to go after the role you actually want.
